You will find that Dan brings a unique perspective to the practice of financial planning, deeply impacted by his military service. As a member of a five-man reconnaissance team, Dan learned the meaning of a “360-degree battlefield.” The enemy could come from any direction, and poor planning could prove fatal.
Dan also understands that poor planning could be fatal to your financial goals. In the evolving financial landscape, new threats to your success are always emerging. If you are like most of our clients, you aspire to a work-optional lifestyle, but the path to that goal is full of obstacles. Without proper guidance, many of these obstacles go unnoticed, because it is difficult to plan for what you don’t anticipate.
For this reason, Dan leads you through a thoughtful and consultative three-step approach to managing your financial future. Together you will design a personalized, 360-degree Life Map, based solely on your needs and objectives. Once your objectives have been set, Dan will build an evidence-based portfolio that is engineered to maximize the likelihood of reaching your objectives.
Dan has a passion for learning and providing his clients with ongoing education and guidance. As your family’s Personal CFO, Dan will work hand-in-hand with you to protect what you have built, while continuously measuring progress towards your goals. This is accomplished through regularly scheduled meetings and the careful stewardship of your portfolio.
When he is not serving his clients, Dan is enjoying country life in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains with his wife Stephanie and their nine children Melody, Paul, Ruth, David, Jonathan, Edith, Titus, Luke, and Susannah.
In 2011, Dan graduated with high honors from Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business, where he received a Master of Science in Financial Planning (MSFP). He has also earned a B.S.B.A in Finance from Oklahoma State University, as well as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
In 2019, Dan was honored to receive a full academic scholarship from the American College of Financial Services to complete his 2nd graduate degree in the emergent field of Retirement Income Planning. Dan enjoyed the opportunity to learn the latest developments and best practices from industry leading practitioners.
Before college, Dan served in the United States Army, where he completed four combat tours overseas. He served as a designated marksman on a hostage rescue team, sniper for a reconnaissance platoon, and an infantry man in the Army’s elite 82nd Airborne Division.
